Have the client think about the primary emotion they are struggling with, where they feel it in the body, what color the emotion would be, what texture it would have and what it would look like if it were externalized.


Here is an example of anxiety: made by me.



If you want to use this as an example, the explanation is:

"Anxiety feels like a knot in the stomach that is prickly. It feels heavy like cinderblocks (feet) and the face represents the face that I make or internally feel."
